Super rare

Transcription disc of show 397 with performances from TOTP

According to discogs this is 14 June by the date given for #396 7 JUN 1972 and for # 400 5 JULY 1972

by the Kinks (Supersonic rocket ship) / David Bowie (Starman-live and Changes-live*) / The Move (Tonight-live and California man-live and Do ya-live*) / T.Rex (Metal guru-live) and Wishbone Ash (Blowin free-live and Throw down the sword*-live and Plainsong (Truck drivin man-live)

* On Pops extra side

B side: Pops extra: with live version of Changes by David Bowie and also tracks by Plainsong (The true story of Amelia Erhart and Yo yo man)

All tracks are different performances to the regular single or LP track

Some possibly actually live in front of the audience but the usual practice with TOTP was that the artiste/group laid down the track in a session prior to the programme airing and then mimed on TOTP. Not always.

Comes with the original generic lined gatefold generic ochre coloured cover whic is used for all TOTP discs from this era but this has hand written track listing for #394
