Label FLT 'flat label

Label variant NORDG: No outer rim ridging

With 2 Tone company sleeve

Run-out info: TT 1-3 'Gangsters

and TT 2  'G.G.'- (the '1' has been dinked)

see other listings

Pressing variant LYN: pressed at the Lyntone plant

Pressing plant: LYNTONE ('LYN 7083 / 4)' hand written in run out one side and ALSO... OR in run out on Gangster side (is the Orlake notification)

Either Orlake had no capacity and passed it on to Lyntone or vice-versa

Who knows..but for sure these Lyntone and Orlake pressings are pre-Chrysalis involvement.

This is probably either the 1st or 2nd pressing plant issue before Chrysalis took over distribution etc

The other pressing plant known is Orlake

There are pressings for Lyntone, pressings for Orlake and also this combined pressing with Lynton matrix and 'OR'

see other listings

Most of the 2 Tone pressings have the 'flat' label with the small inner ring so presumably these are pressed by Chrysalis (or whoever pressed their vinyl) however the wide shallow and dinked labels (see other listings) do not appear on other titles and their pressing origin is not known ?!

Anyone know ??
