Super rare and probably unique collectable item from the mighty MEATLOAF

Astonishing item !!!

A PAIR of AUTOGRAPHED LPs

A GOLD STAMPED pre release on the back) original LP signed by MEATLOAF

therefore a very 1st pressing as this was supplied by CBS-owners of Epic Records.

The LP sleeve was signed by Meatloaf in the studio of BRMB radio station in Birmingham whilst being interviewed about his

"Neverland Express Euro '82"

and accompanying this beauty was:

An original copy of the same LP signed by the 4 core members of the band & production unti & amazingly- by JIM STEINMAN

autographed in ballpoint pen by core members of the backing band and production unit.

Steve Buslowe, Max Weinberg, Roy Bitten

Crucially, this included a rare signature from Jim Steinman, alongside bassist Steve Buslowe, drummer Max Weinberg, and pianist Roy Bittan (the latter two famously pulled from Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band to record the music).

During his highly successful "Neverland Express Euro '82" tour, the man himself made a heavily publicised visit, pre gigs, to Birmingham, where the local independent station BRMB Radio** captured significant coverage of his presence in the West Midlands.

** As Birmingham's premier commercial radio station, BRMB naturally heavily promoted the NEC shows. They conducted promotional interviews with many participants gigging at the NEC throughout the 80s  and it was a no-brainer to try and get Meatloaf in to the studio to capitalize on the local hype and boost the stations listener figures & profile.

The station famously broadcasted live tracking, ticket giveaways, and interview segments focusing on his theatrical, high-energy return to the UK.

The PRIZE was:

This pair of signed LPs and were offered to a listener answering correctly the following questions:

1. The Acting Question: Entrants had to identify the name of the character Meat Loaf played in the iconic 1975 musical comedy horror film 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'

2. The Collaboration Question: Listeners had to name the title track from his smash-hit debut album that explicitly referenced a motor vehicle and an escape from a fiery underworld.

Pretty tough but I expect one or two listeners got it right.

Correctly answered questons were to be submiited to the station either via the Royal Mail or by calling the staion personally by phone (or presumably by any others means).
