The Eire Apparent were a brilliant psychedelic rock group from Northern Ireland, but their historical weight lies entirely in their relationship with Jimi Hendrix. Hendrix discovered them, moved them to London, signed them to his own management team (Anim Ltd), and personally produced their 1968 material (even playing guitar tracks on their album Sunrise).
