Rare artwork for the 'Grooving in green' 7" single
Presnted on an A4 sheet
Probably originally the original artwork for the picture cover and then adapted for a poster
Thin black textured card has the screen printed artwork design stuck on it withe the title also laid on at the top. This corresponds to the picture cover.
Then a thin strip of the card '1982 A Merciful Release MR017' probably also screen printed has been interposed between the title and the artwork
The '7' has been overlaid on top of the original # possibly because the original cat # was changed or incorrectly printed 1st time.
Or possibly this strip was used for other Merciful product bearing in mind it was a independent, small local label.
This A4 sheet which has some corner creasing at the bottom {which is a long way from the end of the graphics)

Probably this adaptation was made as a master for a poster and printed off on a photocopierfor local distribution within West Yorkshire's record shops and clubs etc
