Label variant BGC:

Scarce 1st issue blue outline triangle label with 'black' label

**with rim text:  'THE GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD......' rim text at '10 o'clock' and 'MADE IN GT.BRITAIN' text at '6 o'clock'

**with the original 'World Copyright Ltd' publishing credit.on the labels.

This was VERY SHORT-LIVED before the credit was changed to 'Pink Floyd Music Publ.'

Although they formed 'Pink Floyd Music Ltd' in November 1972 they did not form the publishing company until May 1973.

Cover variant AS::

**The cover is the rare 'midnight blue' issue which was replaced very quickly with the 'black' cover-front cover is sealed

with original black lined die cut window inner sleeve (Patent nos. 1125555  1072844 &  'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN'

Matt card so prone to wear

Matrix variant A3/B2:

**1st issue matrices: A: SHVL 804 A - 3   stamper 1 GPH

and                           B: SHVL 804 B - 2 stamper 4 GMD

Unlaminated cover which as usual shows the odd edge crease and some wear including partial ring wear

Spine slight wear top and bottom and a few minor edge creases

Inside gatefold EX but small circular crease on back section of inside gatefold

Front section of cover is sealed

**with 2 x folded posters (EX+)

**and 2 x peel-off stickers  slight creasing

Label side 1 EX+ with the usual manufacturing fault (split around hole-very common)

and Side 2 is similar but has a thin scratch around 3+ cm long

The rim text has 'THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD....' at 10 o'clock

and 'MADE IN GT.BRITAIN' at 6 o'clock
