All LPs have the small Apple logo on the back cover except 'Rubber soul' which was unavailable from EMI being withdrawn from sale after they had mispressed the labels. The few that were circulated are very rare and command very large prices.
The copy supplied is a Germany pressing which is all that was available during this period of the late 90s
Booklet which contains track listings and 2-3 lines about each track/chronology etc
Formats: LP (x 16),Wooden black box with sliding shutter,Booklet
Box condition: slight blemishes on part of shutter
Covers: all M except slight blemish on 'Yellow submarine' spine
Record(s) condition: all M
Comment: Very few of the VINYL set around because EMI also brought out CD and Cassette versions -this was 1998 (many dealers and sellers erroneously market this as issued in 1988 -not so!!!-even so called complete discographies on the net make this mistake)
and here's how you got the set::
Buy the Box then order each LP as they became available so pretty tedious and subject to supply as EMI were mainly focusing on the CD version and the supply of vinyl was erratic.
Shutter has 'The Beatles' in gold on bottom of shutter
First 4 LPs are in MONO-rest in STEREO.
Box is heavy and 12 x LPs + 2 x 2 LP will weigh a fair amount so postage is high-will quote at time of purchase/query.
