Transcription disc of show 395 with performances from TOTP

by Slade (Take me bak home & Darlin be home soon-live)/T Rex-(Metal guru-live)/+ Tremeloes (live-I like it that way and Hands off) and also Mungo Jerry (Live-Open up your ears (?) and Say goodnight) + The Fortunes (Baby by the way-live)

The 'Pops extra' side has obscure tracks by Slade Wonderin Y & Move over and unknown (I've gotta get away* ?) + T Rex Get it on-live (or rather not the normal studio 7" version)

+ interview with Marc Bolan-talking about his film and other things (playing with Ringo etc) for about 8 minutes

*Starts off-'Seems like a day for leaving I can't start a new day making the things you say I've gotta get away ain't nobody gonna make me stay...Breaking away and leaving so many lights to see'

sound a bit like John Fogerty with a slightly raspy voice

All tracks are different performances to the regular single or LP track

Some possibly actually live in front of the audience but the usual practice with TOTP was that the artiste/group laid down the track in a session prior to the programme airing and then mimed on TOTP. Not always.
