TRULY SUPERB COPY-YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER ONE !!

Original unboxed Decca logo

Matrix #'s: XARL6619-1A-stamper 1 M (or H) G

& XARL6620-1A-stamper-2 D(?) M (or H) A (?)

Disc - EX+ very shiny and barely played

Labels: clean and clear and no discernible spindle mark

'Made in England The Decca Record Company' at top of label

Assorted variations of this label - see detailed pictures (click link below)

With rare pasted slick back cover (see below)

The pasted copies only exist as an amendment to the original 'blind man' text printed 1st issue covers.

Subsequent printing of the cover amended the text by deleting the paragraph referring to the 'blind man'

Cover: Laminated front cover-never seen one so shiny

small thumb crease and minute lamination lifting along spine edge otherwise a truly superb condition cover

Back : clean with

Variation B: internal flaps

darker background on front cover

Cover B: No 'Blind man' text - pasted over

The whole back cover is made up of a slick which has been pasted over the original 'blind man' text cover deleting any reference to 'see that blind man-knock him on the head..'

which was a seriously tasteless and stupid liner note by Oldham probably to stir up some publicity for his boys !

This has reduced the visible lamination line to a few millimetres (instead of the nearly 1 cm normally showing)

see other listings for variation

Cover - EX+

'Printed in England' on back cover

Spine-perfect
