Exceptionally rare Promotional only die-cut Picture cover
issued for a Variety Club of Great Britain-Yorkshire regional committee charity event in Leeds (4th annual ball)=Sunday September 19th 1965
small tear in heart shape die-cut (back)
The heavy card sleeve was not printed by EMI or Columbia Records. It was commissioned independently by the Yorkshire Regional Committee using a local Leeds commercial printer.
The Table Gift: These were laid out flat on the dining tables at the Queens Hotel as exclusive party favors for the VIP guests who bought dinner tickets. [1]
The Heart Motif: The heart die-cut wasn't just a romantic design choice for the song; it was a physical representation of the Variety Club's official international logo (the famous "Gold Heart"). [1]
