Pre-release date stamped issue: -6 SEP 1968
The proposed release date is usually stamped on a batch of 1st pressings to be sent out early to reviewers and DJs and are preview pre-release copies rather than the A label promtional labels but often no promotional labels are made and these pre-release copies are in effect 'promos'
There is no known A label promo for this item and a date stamped issue is very unusual
Fontana promos were yellow stamped up till 1966 or so (e.g. Dusty Springfield/Troggs etc-see our listings) and white label red A promos are known from 1969 or so very briefly (e.g. 'Never had a girl..' {see our listings} and 'Balloon' for Kaleidoscope)
